"كل عصر برجال وسير"
عالم مصريات مصري, ولد في القاهرة, في 25 فبراير عام 1980. تلقى مباديء المصريات بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة, تتلمذ على أيدي جيل من الرواد, وعلى رأسهم العالم الكبير الدكتور زاهي حواس.
تولى رئاسة رابطة المصريات بالجامعة الأمريكية. له أكثر من خمس سلاسل من المحاضرات, أبرزها سلسلة فرعونيات, يعيد بها قراءة التاريخ بعيون مصرية
اشتغل بالترجمة فهو يترجم لمجلة التايم الأمريكية ولكوكبة من العلماء والمفكرين ومن ثم تلقب بسفير اللغة العربية
